Advanced first aid training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle more complex emergency situations, such as administering CPR to infants and children, dealing with choking incidents, as well as managing traumatic injuries.

This training program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to administer first aid, CPR, and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Unintentional injuries are a significant cause of mortality worldwide, with approximately 1 in 7 individuals experiencing an injury that requires immediate medical attention at least once in their lifetime. Therefore, the demand for individuals trained in first aid techniques is crucial in minimizing long-term consequences and facilitating recovery. Additionally, this course fulfills the legal obligation for companies operating within the UAE to have staff members who are trained in first aid, as mandated by UAE Labor law.
COURSE OUTLINE - MODULES
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider.
- Know how to assess an incident Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally.
- Know how to manage a casualty who is not breathing normally and unresponsive.
- Know how to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.
- Know how to recognise and assist a casualty with a minor injury.
- Know how to manage a casualty who is in shock.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles and joints.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with suspected head and spinal injuries.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with burns and scalds.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with an eye injury.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with sudden poisoning.
- Know how to administer first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis.
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with suspected major illness.
- Know how to safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED) .
