ADNOC APPROVED COURSES
h2S Awareness
This training mainly applies to those personnel who are required to enter an H2S classified Zones (Red / Amber / Yellow) which may include ADNOC ONSHORE / contractor staff entering the process facility / drilling rigs / well locations for the purpose of executing the process, engineering support, construction, rig less operations etc.… Employees need to have a level of competence compatible with the tasks they are expected.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
- Upon the completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify H2S hazards and properties
- Explain information related to detection and respiratory protection equipment
- Understand the H2S zone classification and requirements
- Show more understanding about operational controls of Red Zone
Practice emergency actions, detection, and escape equipment - Practice EEBA
- Follow emergency evacuation procedures

- Personnel that are, or could be, working in an environment that could become contaminated by H2S gas.
